Sorry. I've obviously not been active on Deviant Art. I'm a huge lurker now...

I'm sure a few people have noticed that I'm slowly returning to Deviant Art on a regular basis. I've been uploading a few pictures I took with My Precious (camera), but nothing serious yet. I've been putting my fanart on hold due to so much going on in my life. Between 17 units of school, stressing over probation, my health, and role playing, I've got a full schedule.

Pearl does NOT like full schedules!

I had to go the the ER last Friday and was hospitalized. I'm fine now, so don't worry. It's just damn annoying! A visit to the ER is expensive, too! (It was also my first time...) Well, I don't really feel like talking about it much.

I'm going to be taking commission for fanart. I'll be selling at Artist Alley, but before AX rolls around, I'm going to be getting a PO Box so I can take commission online. For now, if there is a picture you'd like me to take of something, please let me know! I want an excuse to use my camera... LOL Oh, and I wouldn't consider it a commission - just a meme! (ie: no charge, just for fun)

Oh, and I've also been uploading videos onto my Youtube account. I'll be making AMVs when I figure out how to do that, but for now I'm experimenting with actual camera videos of real people, places, and things. Here is my YT account: www.youtube.com/darkagepearl

I bought a new camera about a month ago. The camera I got is made by Canon! They're the best! It's a Canon SD 1100 IS Digitial Elph, and it's a pretty blue. I actually wanted the brown or the pink, but neither of those were available in store.

I've been messing around with it. I have taken a few pictures (uploaded some), and I've taken a couple videos, which I'll upload to Youtube later. You'll be seeing more photos from me...

Wow... You'll have to forgive me. I've been away for ages - again... I've been doing some fanart, but I've not uploaded anything. I could upload some sketches, but what would be the point? I like to show off finished products. Livejournal has seriously kidnapped me and is holding me for ransom. I'm over there ALL the time - just about every day.

I do role playing there, in two Yugioh communities now. I play Amelda in both communities, Isis in one, and two OCs in the other (one male, one female - as if you care?). In the second RP, I sometimes play Raphael, Mokuba, and two more OCs when my moderator needs me to, but I no longer am officially those characters' player.

We're down a lot of players now, and it would be nice to find more. I don't know if anyone is even still interested in Yugioh anymore. It seems like everyone has moved on.

But that's neither here nor there. I'm going to be building up a collection of art to sell at Artist Alley this year at Anime Expo in Los Angeles. That's my goal this year. I might upload previews to get people interested, but I'll probably just end up taking commissions. If you're interested in any commissions, please let me know. Thanks.
